Following a direct request from the staff, we have recently upgraded the beds in some of the dormitories so that they now conform to the highest comfort and medical standards.

The handicapped suffer disproportionally in any war zone and with many of the residents of this orphanage at the extreme end of the spectrum, they cannot easily be relocated away from the front line. Dormitory windows are boarded up to prevent glass related injuries from incoming rockets and missiles so many residents never get to see the light of day.

Ukraine Relief aims to alleviate some of this suffering by providing support with compassion and kindness.
