The first leg of the journey took us to London. From there we went to Harwich, crossing the channel to the Hook of Holland, then through the Netherlands, Germany and Poland before arriving in Ukraine. We passed through major cities, including Berlin, Poznan and Warsaw, raising more funds for Ukrainian children along the way. Our riders carried a ‘symbol of hope’, which was handed to Ukrainian triathletes at the Ukraine border, who carried it through Ukraine to its destination in Kyiv as a beacon of hope to victims of the conflict.
