Ukraine Relief Team Completes the 2026 TCS London Marathon

April 26, 2026

Four runners representing Ukraine Relief completed the TCS London Marathon on 26 April 2026 in support of the charity’s “Children Are the Future” project.

Founder and CEO Karol Swiacki took on the 26.2-mile challenge alongside trustee Alastair Young, Alfie Packham and Liam Dunn from AXA Insurance.

Following months of preparation, the team ran to raise funds and draw attention to the experiences of children affected by the war in Ukraine.

“Children Are the Future” provides sports clothing and essential equipment, restores schools and sports halls, and creates safe spaces where children can play, learn and recover. Through this work, Ukraine Relief helps young people rebuild their physical and emotional wellbeing while regaining a sense of stability and normality.

The money raised through the marathon will support the charity’s continued work in schools and communities across Ukraine.

Ukraine Relief thanks the runners for their commitment and everyone who donated, shared the fundraising appeal or encouraged the team throughout their journey. This support enables the charity to continue delivering practical assistance directly to those who need it most.
